Track hours with the time clock and shifts
Clock your team in and out, track hours, and build the week's shifts.
If you run a team, the time clock and shifts keep everyone's hours straight: staff clock in and out, you see who's on, and you build the week's schedule in one place. Here's how both work, and who can do what.
In a nutshell
- Staff clock in and out from the app or the portal; hours are tracked for you.
- Build the week's shifts under Team → Shifts and assign who's on.
- Managers with the right permission can correct a time entry.
- Part of facility mode (the Facilities plan).
The time clock
- 1Staff clock in and out from the app or the portal; hours are tracked for you.
- 2Build the week's shifts under Team → Shifts and assign who's on.
Each teammate clocks in when they start and out when they finish, and their hours accrue automatically — no paper timesheets, no end-of-week guesswork. If someone forgets to clock out, a manager with the right permission can correct the entry.
Build the week's shifts
- Open Team → Shifts.
- Add a shift with its day, time and who's on.
- Save — it shows on each assigned teammate's schedule.
Editing other people's time entries needs the timeclock permission — see Admin, manager and staff for who holds it.
Common questions
Can staff edit their own hours?
Staff clock themselves in and out, but correcting a saved entry is a manager-level action, so the record stays trustworthy.
What if someone forgets to clock out?
A manager with the timeclock permission can edit the entry to set the right finish time.
Is the time clock on every plan?
It's part of facility mode, on the Facilities plan — it's built for teams that share shifts and track hours.
