MoeGo is the most widely used grooming platform, and for good reason: smart scheduling, a pet-parent portal, integrated MoeGo Pay, route optimization and deep salon tooling. Its pricing reflects who it's built for, it's billed per van for mobile grooming and per location for a salon, then split into Basic, Growth and Ultimate tiers. Mobile plans run about $49, $99 and $159 per van; salon plans run about $79, $149 and $239 per location (as of July 2026). For a large salon or a fleet of vans, that scale is the point.

Pupline charges one flat price at whichever size you are. A solo or mobile groomer pays $12.99/mo on Pupline Pro for every feature. A grooming business with a team runs Pupline Facilities: $49.98/mo including your first three staff, then $6/mo per extra seat, with no per-van, per-location or per-pet multiplier. Either way the bill is predictable and doesn't climb with every booking or every tier.

Everything in one plan, not spread across tiers

MoeGo organises its capability across Basic, Growth and Ultimate. Two-way messaging, mass texting, review boosting and route optimization sit on Growth and above; unlimited automated messaging is an Ultimate feature; and each tier includes a fixed text allotment (from around 200 texts a month on the entry mobile plan) with more reserved for the pricier plans. The plan that unlocks the feature you want can sit a level or two above the one you're on.

Pupline includes the lot in one plan: scheduling, breed-based service templates that price the appointment for you, vaccination tracking with expiry alerts, no-login online booking, before-and-after report cards and branded invoicing. Pupline Facilities is simply everything in Pro plus a team, the same grooming core with staff seats added, so growing from one groomer to three doesn't mean re-learning a new tier of software.

Your clients don't log into a portal

MoeGo gives pet parents a portal and app to book, rebook and see their pet's history, a real convenience once a client is set up, and a sensible hub for a salon with hundreds of regulars. Pupline takes the opposite stance: there's no client portal and no account for your customers, ever. They get a private no-login link when there's something to do, request a groom, fill an intake form, open a before-and-after report card, and that's the whole experience for them.

For an independent groomer or a small team, that no-login flow tends to get far better participation than asking every owner to create and remember another login. Online booking is optional and off until you switch it on, and you can pair it with vaccination gating so a pet with a lapsed rabies shot can't book until it's renewed.

One groomer or a team, and where MoeGo still goes deeper

Because Pupline Facilities is the full grooming product plus staff seats, it grows with you: add a second and third groomer without a per-location fee, share one client and pet book, and keep the same phone-native workflow you started with. Two things grooming software rarely includes and Pupline does at both tiers: the Vault, encrypted-at-rest storage for gate codes, alarm PINs and key locations (handy for mobile pickups), and video report cards, not just photos.

Be clear about the trade, though: MoeGo goes deeper than Pupline where a large operation needs it. MoeGo Pay is integrated card processing with prepayments and pre-auth to cut no-shows; Pupline doesn't process payments in-app (it records how you were paid and keeps 0%, so you bring your own reader or app). MoeGo's advanced route optimization for multi-van fleets, its grooming-salon point-of-sale with retail and tipping, and its multi-location and franchise management are built for a scale Pupline deliberately doesn't chase. If you need those, MoeGo is the right call; if you want the grooming core flat and on a phone, solo or as a team, that's Pupline.
