Clients and pets
A client is a pet owner — or a whole household. Each client can have one or more pets, and every booking, invoice and report card attaches to that record, so a client's entire history sits in one place instead of scattered across notes and texts.

The Care Card
Each pet has a Care Card: the at-a-glance summary your team needs on the job — breed and age, feeding, medication, walking notes and anything to avoid. It's the first thing a walker or attendant checks before they start.
The Vault
The Vault is secure storage for the details you don't want lying around in a notes app: vet contacts, medication, home-access codes and vaccination documents. It stays locked down and is shown only where it's genuinely needed.
Add a pet's vaccination records to the Vault so expiry reminders can warn you before they lapse.
Common questions
What's the difference between the Care Card and the Vault?
The Care Card is the everyday summary your team uses on the job. The Vault is for sensitive details — access codes, medical and vaccination documents — that stay locked down and surface only where needed.
Can one client have more than one pet?
Yes. A client (or household) can have any number of pets, each with its own Care Card and history, all under the one client record.
Who can see the Vault?
Access follows your team roles. Sensitive Vault details are shown only where they're needed to do the work, not surfaced across your whole team — see Admin, manager and staff: who can do what.
Will Pupline remind me about expiring vaccinations?
Yes, if you store the vaccination records in the Vault. Expiry reminders warn you before they lapse so you're never caught out at check-in.
