Questions

Good to know.

What should I tell my cat sitter?

Feeding (wet or dry, how much, when), the litter box routine and where the spare litter is, any medications, your cat's personality, hiding spots and whether they go outside, plus your vet, an emergency vet, and your contact and a backup. This template covers each one.

Is this cat sitter instructions template free?

Yes, free and printable with no sign-up. Fill in the live form and save it as a PDF, or download the blank PDF and write it in. Empty fields print as ruled lines.

How often should a cat sitter visit?

Most cats do well with at least one drop-in visit a day for feeding, fresh water, a litter scoop and some company; many owners prefer two. Note your preferred visit schedule in the routine section so your sitter knows what you expect.

Where should I leave the instructions for my cat sitter?

Somewhere obvious, the kitchen counter or fridge, alongside the food and any medication. If your sitter uses Pupline, they can also keep your cat's details in a Care Card on their phone for every future visit.

Never re-type care notes again.
